Michael Cataldo, Executive Director, Sequoias Portola Valley

Michael Cataldo brings more than 25 years of Hospitality and Health Care experience. Michael started his career with the Marriott Corporation serving as Food and Beverage Director, Regional Director for Food and Nutritional Services, and Nursing Home Administrator in Large CCRC operations. 

Michael received a bachelor’s degree in health education with an emphasis in Nutrition from Morgan State University, and a master’s degree in health care administration from Central Michigan University.

Prior to Joining Sequoia Michael operated Assisted Living Communities and Nursing homes for Atria, Emeritus, and Golden Living and was an owner of a Long-Term Care community in Pennsylvania.
