Wills and Bequests
A bequest is a statement in your will that you would like to give a gift to Senior Services for Northern California after your lifetime. Bequests are an easy and popular way to make a significant gift of cash, property, stock, or other assets to SSNC. Through a bequest, your generous gift can make a positive difference for years to come.

Charitable Remainder Trust
Through a charitable remainder trust, you or your spouse can earn income for life while making a charitable gift to your community. Your gift to SSNC is placed in an irrevocable trust in your name. Every quarter, you receive a fixed percentage of the trust’s value. The year you give your gift, you also receive a sizeable tax deduction. Charitable remainder trusts are especially popular with longtime homeowners or people who have highly appreciated stock.

Pooled Income Fund
A pooled income fund is a trust funded by a number of donors who each retain an income for life. Pooled income funds and assets are invested in stocks and bonds. Each quarter, you receive interest earned on your investment according to the number of shares you’ve invested in the fund. The year you make your gift, you also receive income tax savings. At the end of your lifetime, your portion of the principal is transferred to Senior Services for Northern California.
