Sequoia Living

Viamonte At Walnut Creek: A Product Of The Age Of Experience.

The new retirement living community known as Viamonte at Walnut Creek is the latest in a portfolio of exceptional life experiences for older adults in Northern California provided by the organization, formerly known as Northern California Presbyterian Homes and Services, and now proudly rebranded as Sequoia Living.

In addition to Viamonte, Sequoia Living owns and operates three other Continuing Care Retirement Communities: The Tamalpais, The Sequoias San Francisco, and the Sequoias Portola Valley. Sequoia Living also manages three affordable housing communities, a manufactured housing development for people aged 55 and older, and programs that serve seniors throughout The Bay Area.

WELCOME TO THE AGE OF EXPERIENCE.

Experience is the reward of aging. It is the most precious natural resource any individual or organization can acquire, but it can’t be bought, sold or traded. Just earned. It is what separates good from great, and the more you have of it, the better you can appreciate its value.

Experience is what gives us the perspective to see what matters most. And for us at Sequoia Living, it’s what we celebrate every moment of every day in communities, healthcare and community centers throughout and around the Bay Area.

After more than sixty years, we changed our name to reflect the extent of our own experience and the extent to which we value the experience of those we serve.

Because after all: the longer we live, the better we get at it.

FINANCIALLY STRONG, SOCIALLY FOCUSED.

As a nonprofit organization, Sequoia Living reinvests its financial returns in ways that support its mission and enhance the lives of the people we serve. Each day, we draw upon our Core Values of service, integrity, stewardship, teamwork, excellence, and respect. Guided by the belief that a diversity of backgrounds, styles, perspectives, values, and faiths is an asset to both communities and residents, Sequoia Living is committed to maintaining an inclusive, supportive, and responsive organization in which differences among all people are understood and appreciated.
