Only a short walk away, one block in fact and you will find yourself in the Japan Center of Japantown. Enjoy shopping and great eats –or both during your visit. In fact, there are amazing bakeries surrounding our community as well as salons and spas to pamper yourself while keeping up with your unique style.

For outdoor enthusiasts, our central location makes it easy to Lyft right over to Golden Gate Park, Twin Peaks, Crissy Field, or even a Pacific ocean beach. We offer transportation to all your favorite spots, and outings to places like Marin County, Sonoma, Napa, and more. You’ll never be bored!

Just a hop, skip and jump down the street is the SFMOMA, de Young Museum, Legion of Honor, Contemporary Jewish Museum, Asian Art Museum, and so much more. But we must be honest, more than art, we love live performances at SF Jazz Center, Davies Symphony Hall, San Francisco Opera, and the SF Ballet. We even have talented performers come right on over to our auditorium and perform just for you and your friends.

Our neighborhood has everything you need. You will find Walgreens, Safeway, Trader Joes, Whole Foods, Nijiya Market, and Bevmo. Nearby are the US Post Office, UPS Store, stationary and hardware stores, dry cleaners, florists, and financial institutions. And if you are looking for something special, like a gift for your special grandchild or niece, pop on over to the shops on Fillmore in Pacific Heights and grab a bite while you are there.

You and your friends will want to explore all the local restaurants from Chinese to Persian, Italian to Vietnamese, and American burger joints too! We could talk about food all day. Just come on down for a tour and we will tell you about our mouth-watering favorites in the ‘hood.

When you have guests come visit, you have your choice of the finest Japanese Hotel Kabuki next door, Majestic Hotel down the street, or Queen Anne, a Victorian hotel around the corner. As a convenience we also offer a guest suite in the building. (Shhh, don’t tell everyone or you’ll have your family coming to visit all the time).
