Residents and Staff at The Tamalpais Celebrate Sequoia Spirit Day with Aloha Style!

In May, staff and residents at The Tamalpais sported their favorite Hawaiian attire in honor of Sequoia Spirit Day, which takes place the fourth Friday of each month. On each Spirit Day, Tam residents and staff show their spirit by dressing up in a fun theme.

The idea for Sequoia Spirit Day got its start as part of our Sequoia Seeds program, which challenges staff to put one idea — or Seed — into place each month that will make us slightly better than we were yesterday. By the end of the year, we will have almost 90 Sequoia Seeds from all of our communities and sites!
