    Sequoia Living, formerly NCPHS, operates life care residential communities. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the experience of aging for older adults in Northern California. For over 60 years, we have been a part of your communities; San Francisco, San Mateo, and Marin. Sequoia Living consists of 1,000 residents and 700 staff. Our staff and residents are your neighbors who have frequented your business, know your staff and in some cases, have taken care of your loved ones in our skilled nursing, assisted living and memory care departments.

    Because I work with amazing people, I often get asked, “How are you doing Sara?” Well, today is Wednesday, April 1st, and it’s hard to believe our new normal involves things like social distancing, sheltering in place, and looking sideways at the person next to us who coughed.

  • Eastern Park

    We were just notified that despite our extensive precautionary measures, an employee at one of our Affordable Housing communities, Western Park Apartments (WPA), has tested positive for COVID-19. The last time the employee was at work was the morning of Tuesday, March 24. The employee is following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s protocol and is currently self-quarantined at home under the care of a physician and is exhibiting only mild symptoms.
