Our Leadership Team

Kaz Takahashi brings extensive experience in facilities management across CCRCs, RCFEs, and OSHPD-licensed communities. His background includes overseeing high-rise engineering operations in the multi-family and hospitality sectors, managing over 1,000 residential units, as well as retail, dining, and amenities.

Kaz has a proven track record of zero deficiencies in State Public Health and Fire Marshal inspections, leading large-scale capital projects—including a $95M master plan renovation—and implementing energy-efficient systems that reduce utility costs.

At Sequoia Living, Kaz leads capital investments, long-term planning, and sustainability initiatives. He works closely with Executive Directors to support environmental services and emergency preparedness, ensuring each community remains competitive, high-performing, and resident-focused.
