Melody Allan brings more than 24 years of experience in health and senior services to her role as Executive Director of Viamonte. She began her career working in a variety of settings as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Later, she served as the Skilled Nursing Administrator at several facilities in Southern California and quickly found a perfect fit serving seniors in mission driven organizations. Melody has served as Administrator and then Executive Director at Royal Oaks in Southern California, Executive Director at San Francisco Towers and Spring Lake Village, and as Regional Vice President of Operations at Covia.

She holds a Masters in Gerontology from University of La Verne, an associate degree in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University, and a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from California State University Los Angeles.

Melody enjoys trail and mountain biking, bike packing, backpacking, fishing, beekeeping, cooking, open water swimming, riding two up on road trips, and watching sunrises and sunsets in scenic places.
