Paul Chilvers
Director of Empowering Children Bay Area
Paul Chilvers has a lifetime of experience in education, starting back in Staten Island, NY, where he was raised. Since moving to San Francisco in 2004, he spent over 10 years working with the Glide Family, Youth and Childcare Center. Paul joined Empowering Children Bay Area (ECBA) in 2017 and was promoted to director in 2024. He strives to raise awareness and long-term sustainability for this volunteer tutor program which impacts hundreds of young readers throughout the Bay Area.
