Our Leadership Team

Tomas Mendez brings 20 years of experience in Senior Living, including CCRC and Continuing Care at Home, to his role as Executive Director of  The Sequoias Sequoias San Francisco.

Prior to his arrival at The Sequoias, Tomas served as Vice President of Operations for Frasier, a CCRC/Life Plan community in Boulder, Colorado. He also held multiple senior roles at Lutheran Homes of South Carolina in Charleston (Franke at Seaside) over a span of 15 years. Tomas holds a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the College of Charleston and a Master’s in Exercise Physiology from the University of Maryland. He is a Certified Aging Specialist Professional and a graduate of the LeadingAge Leadership Academy.
