Sequoia Living Wins Best Workplace Culture at 2025 HR Icons Awards

Sequoia Living is proud to share that we have been named the winner of the Best Workplace Culture Award at the 2025 HR Icons Awards, presented by HR Executive at the HR Tech Conference in Las Vegas.

Sequoia Living’s recognition in the Best Workplace Culture category is a reflection of our deeply rooted values — Accountability, Caring, and Teamwork — and our unwavering commitment to supporting our team members so they can, in turn, support others. It’s a celebration of the people-first philosophy that infuses our mission: to provide homes and services for healthy and joyful aging throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

Our culture has been cultivated through intentional collaboration and meaningful programs, including our six staff-led Culture Clubs that bring our values to life each day across our communities and services teams. These efforts have created a workplace where team members feel valued, supported, and inspired to Never Stop Growing.

Accepting the award, Chief People Officer Martha Atwood shared reflections on our journey over the past two years:
