Celebrating 65 Years at The Sequoias Portola Valley

For 65 years, The Sequoias Portola Valley has offered a different vision of retirement living in Northern California. Surrounded by natural beauty and thoughtfully designed around connection and independence, the community was one of the region’s first Continuing Care Retirement Communities, now known as a Life Plan Community.

Located on more than 40 acres adjacent to open space and trails, The Sequoias Portola Valley continues to provide a lifestyle centered around healthy aging, lifelong growth, and meaningful community. While much has changed since 1961, the foundation remains the same: helping older adults live actively, stay connected, and continue pursuing what matters most.
